The Embassy of Ghana wishes to inform all clients of the following important guidelines concerning the processing and collection of consular documents:

1. NO CASH PAYMENTS TO STAFF

All approved fees must be paid only through the official payment channels. No staff member is authorized to collect cash for any service.

2. COLLECTION OF CONSULAR DOCUMENTS

Consular documents such as Emergency Travel Certificates (ETCs) will be released only to the applicant in person. In exceptional cases where the applicant is unable to collect the document in person, a duly authorized representative may do so on their behalf, provided the following documents are submitted:

• A signed and dated authorization letter from the applicant;
• A copy of the applicant’s valid identification document;
• A valid identification document of the representative.

Kindly note that failure to comply with these requirements will result in the non-release of the document.
