The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and to all Diplomatic and Consular Missions and International Organisations accredited to the Republic of Korea and has the honour to inform, with great sadness, the loss of Government Officials and Military Personnel in a helicopter crash on Wednesday, 6th August, 2025.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has declared a 3-Day National Mourning in honour of the departed.

On this sad occasion, a Book of Condolence will be opened at the Embassy premises (120 Dokseodang-ro Yongsan-gu, Seoul) on Monday, 11th to Wednesday 13th August, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Condolences are also received via email at ghanaembassy.seoul.kr@gmail.com during the same period.

The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and to all Diplomatic and Consular Missions and International Organizations accredited to the Republic of Korea the assurances of its highest consideration,
